Wasn't sure a skate-style shoe could feel this solid clipped in, but the stiff shank really does put the power down. The two-bolt recess sits deep enough that I can walk around after a ride without the cleat scraping concrete.

Rode these on my usual trail loop and the stiff shank makes a real difference when I'm mashing uphill compared to my old floppy flats. They still look like skate shoes, which is nice when I stop for coffee after. Clipping in and out feels solid every time.

The recessed two-bolt cleat means I can actually walk into a coffee shop without that horrible clip-clop sound, which was my main worry. The stiff shank gives decent power transfer on the pedals, though the collar rubbed my ankle a bit the first few rides before it broke in.
