The powerblend fleece is noticeably heavier than my old hoodie but still breathes fine on a chilly morning walk. Stitching at the pocket corners looks reinforced too, so I'm not worried about it splitting like my last one did.

The two-ply hood actually holds its shape instead of flopping over my face, which is the thing that always bugs me about cheaper fleece. Stitching around the pocket and cuffs feels reinforced, so I'm not worried about it falling apart after a few washes.

With 50% US grown cotton, this fleece feels way beefier than the thin hoodies I've bought before. The two-ply hood actually holds its shape instead of flopping around, and the extra stitching on the seams hasn't frayed after a dozen washes.
